What can I say about Boy George? First of all, this icon far exceeds being handsome, this dude is freaking beautiful! Oh my gosh, you can just swim in those eyes. Did time just completely stop for him? What the heck is it?
Boy George got me at Culture Club. He was unapologetically original and authentic and I love him for that. Let's talk about the things people won't talk about. I can wear makeup, so what? I can wear my hair in dreads, why do you care? I can wear bright colors and extravagant clothing, what does it do for you at night? This icon! This icon! This icon! I swear, is freaking amazing! He challenged every piece of the 80's era and continues to make his mark today.
Per Wikipedia, When he was asked what Karma Chameleon meant he said, "The song is about the terrible fear of alienation that people have, the fear of standing up for one thing. It's about trying to suck up to everybody." Now, that's what I'm talking about. The day you realize that the only person you need to be happy with is you, is the day you've fully grown. I'm gonna just sit Karma Chameleon right here for your enjoyment. You already know how I feel about him and his music. Writing this blog was a helluva rush and a privilege! This guy is AMAZING!
